Theme - Pioneer Days Festival Parade: “Education Fuels Tomorrow's Pioneers”
Thank you for your interest in the 2017 Pioneer Days Festival Parade which will be held on Saturday, February 18th. The Pioneer Days Festival is an exciting three day event from February 17th - 19th that will include a music, arts & crafts vendors, food and a great parade throughout the weekend, including an exciting fireworks display celebrating the City of Deerfield Beach on Saturday, February 18th.
This year the parade will line up at Pioneer Park (501 NE Eller Street); we ask that you check in at 8:30 AM. The parade will begin at 10:00 AM and will go east on Hillsboro Boulevard, north on A1A, past the pier then south along the beach.
Following the parade there will be an awards ceremony at the beach. Trophies will be given to the winner in each of the below listed categories. Be sure when filling out the application you list the category for which you wish to be considered. Judges will be located on the stage at the Main Beach Parking Lot. Please note, it is important for you to provide the names of those that you would like acknowledged by the emcee together with any other information about your entry should you be chosen as a winner.
