KaBOOM! Community Build Playground to go up in Deerfield Beach

The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that the City has been selected by the KaBOOM! organization for a community build playground funded by JM Family Enterprises, Inc., at the new Hillsboro Community Center, 50 Hillsboro Technology Dr. The City and The McDougle Family Foundation partnered to apply for the grant, which was awarded to Deerfield Beach in December 2016.

On Saturday, March 11th the community, JM Family, KaBOOM! and The McDougle Family Foundation will come together with 200 volunteers to build this brand new playground in one day.

The City could not be more excited to have such a great opportunity for the community and would like to thank JM Family for funding such an amazing project, KaBOOM! for selecting Deerfield Beach and The McDougle Family Foundation for partnering with us on such a worthy project!
