The City of Deerfield Beach
is conducting an online survey to gather essential data on the Advanced
Industry (AI) business sector. The survey is intended to assist City
staff in designing strategies to maximize the economic health and sustainability
of the City of Deerfield Beach while also ensuring that local initiatives
reflect companies needs and expectations from local government.
Invitations to participate were sent last week to a random sample of the AI Businesses in the City. Advanced Industries are those that conduct operations in the following fields: Aerospace and Aviation, Global Logistics, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Marine Industries, and Technology. Companies are also considered within this sector if their headquarters are located within City limits.
To access the survey, go to
the City’s website and visit the Economic Development Page, the link to the “Advanced
Industry Survey” will be on the landing page. Responses are confidential.
The survey will be open until Sunday, July 15 and the results will be posted on July 20. The survey is short and only takes from 1 to 2 minutes to complete.
Economic development surveys
provide a vehicle to engage in an open conversation about what capacity
building efforts would best serve economic development in the City.
