The City of Deerfield Beach Parks system consists of four Community Centers and 19 parks, both active and passive. Other unique facilities include a state-of-the-art Aquatic Center, a Tennis Center with six lighted courts, Middle School Athletic Complex, the 920 foot Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier and a Blue Wave award-winning one mile stretch of beach.

Amenities at the various parks run the gamut, from multiple athletic fields and courts to fishing docks and boat ramps to a full size gymnasium at Westside Park. This, in addition to many neighborhood playgrounds and tot lots.

At the Constitution Park, Pioneer Park, and Westside Park Community Centers, the city offers a variety of recreational, social and cultural programs. Middle School Athletic Complex consists of a quadplex, 4 baseball fields, Football/Soccer field, full size track, as well as the state of the art Aquatics Center.

The Parks and Recreation Department also maintains two respectful and well-maintained municipal cemeteries, Memorial and Pineview. The city administers the purchasing of cemetery plots, interments and perpetual care of 35 acres of cemetery grounds.
